Vík í Mýrdal is a fishing village on Iceland's South Coast, framed by the basalt sea stacks Reynisdrangar and the black sand beach of Reynisfjara with its hexagonal basalt columns. Autumn here brings together volcanoes, lava fields, black beaches, waterfalls and glaciers.
